There are a lot of reasons why we don’t have the sexual experiences we would wish for.
I have spent many years talking to couples and individuals about their sexual experiences. This is an integral part of my work as a relationship therapist.
I decided to extend my practice and I am currently a sex therapist in training. I started a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy with the Contemporary Institute for Clinical Sexology in Spring 2026 and will be accepting clients for psychosexual therapy from Autumn 2026. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to access psychosexual therapy from then.
I have specialist monthly supervision and the advantage of access to course tutors until I complete my raining as a sex therapist in 2028.
Sex therapy can work for couples attending together or separately. If you’re single it can also be a place to explore your previous sexual experiences as well as consider your future wants and needs. Find out what you’re really looking for in your sexual life.
Psychosexual Therapy is a bit more specialised than ‘therapy with a sexual focus’, and the issues that I will be working with from Autumn 2026 will include:
Erectile Dysfunction, Premature or Delayed Ejaculation, Compulsive Sexual Behaviour
Vaginismus, Dyspareunia, Vulvadynia, Menopause
Differences in Sexual Desire
Sex after Cancer and with chronic conditions
Sessions are completely confidential. Each session lasts 50 minutes. You have a choice of comfortable and stylish locations in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne, or Tynemouth. The number of sessions is up to you and can be booked in blocks of six sessions or individually.
Webcam, telephone and email therapy are also available. Get in touch to ask about availability, or with any other questions about the service.
